As comfort of our guests is always our priority, we have just refreshed rooms at our place. Our guests have also opportunity to choose some DVD movies to watch in their superior rooms and are welcome to taste some typical Polish sweets – Krowka and buiscuits.

Over 3 months, 55 artists from all over the world, 18 concerts, 2 exhibitions. Free music, dazzling with cascades of sounds continually interacting with each other. This is what the 4th edition of Kraków Jazz Fall promises – a festival regarded by Polish critics as one of the most important jazz events of recent years. Jazz  musicians from all over the word( Japan, Norway, America, Spain and Sweden) will all be taking part, and there will be complementary concerts at the Manggha Museum.

Unsound Festival  has consistently presented the most interesting artists active in the field of electronic and experimental music since 2002. This year will be performing Jacaszek – Polish creator of experimental electroacoustic music. The next day will belong to other Polish sound explorers. Two Polish duets, Mikrokolektyw and Sza/Za, will be appearing in Re Club. Also performing American Liz Harris, Sebastian Meissner (Klimek) with with Polish avant-garde group Kwartludium, Jóhann Jóhannsson, The Norwegian Next Life, Rational Diet, Geir Jenssen, DJ Spinoza, Dutchman Martyn, DJ Marcel Dettmann, DJ Shed and many others.

 Above concerts there are also special projects and installations in the Erdal Factory, panel discussions, workshops and film screenings. Included in the screenings, we can see, among others, the newly created film Beats of Freedom – a Polish documentary about rock music as an element of the fight against the communist regime or Before the Music Dies – an American documentary film, observing with a critical eye the progressive homogenisation of contemporary pop music.

This great project of six exhibitions is organized to celebrate the 90^th anniversary of diplomatic contacts between Poland and the USA.

The project includes variety of photos, music and documentary movies.

Nowa Huta – the socialist realist “ideal town” was built after Second World War in 1949 as a Stalin’s revenge on conservative Krakow.

This year Nowa Huta celebrates its 60^th anniversary and this exhibition chronicles the experience of several key figures.

The Galicia Museum hosts events of the highest level. There is permanent exhibition – “Traces of Memory” but also 3 temporary great shows: “Pictures of Resistance:The Wartime Photographs of Jewish Partisan Faye Shulman”; “Swirling Sands”; “They called me Mayer July: Painted Memories of a Jewish Childhood in Poland before Holocaust”.

2009 has been declared “Year of Astronomy”.

This exhibition at the Zderzak gallery explores the heady wored between science and fiction.

Since 1992 you can  watch top Krakow’s artists and awarded singers from Stary Hotel and Stu Theatre in St. Thomas corner.

The programme includes different styles and genres from poetry to satire. The great performance of Polish artists is support by foreign authors.

This year’s 6th edition of the festival will be dedicated in entirely to the most prominent artists and musical trends of 20th century Germany. It is going to be the largest event in Poland and even in Europe. That promotes contemporary German music.
